EMPLOYMENT SERVICES
PRE-EMPLOYMENT TRANSITION SERVICES (PRE-ETS)
Central Technology Center Employment Services, in collaboration with The National Center for Disability Education and Training, University Oklahoma Outreach, through a grant from the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services, is making available Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) activities to high school students with disabilities.
The activities are introductory services and are intended to help students with a documented disability get an early start in identifying career interests to achieve community integration, independence, post-secondary education and/or competitive integrated employment. BEST CAMP
Ready to gain work experience and improve your job readiness?
Participate in a one-week employment training followed by a four-week part-time paid internship. Join us for one of two camps this summer. Date options are June 3-7 or 17-21, 2024.
STUDENTS PREPARING FOR A JOB
We offer job readiness training to all Central Tech students. Students can seek individual or classroom instruction in the following areas: resume development, online job applications, and mock interviews.
If you are interested in our assistance, let your instructor know. We will coordinate a time to work with you.
ASSISTANCE RETURNING TO WORK
If you need assistance to prepare for, obtain, keep or return to work due to a disability, Employment Services may help expand your employment opportunities. This unique service provides employability skills training and support to those members of the community who have been diagnosed with a mental, physical, or learning disability.
