Global Field Services Technician

The Field Services Technician is responsible for completion of domestic and international oilfield service assignments, report writing, development of material lists and repair plans, and other duties as required. This is a safety sensitive position.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
GED/High School Diploma, Technical School Certificate, Post-Secondary Diploma, Associate Degree, or applicable military certificates required.
Five (5) years or more relevant industrial experience, preferably in the fabrication of steel products or the drilling industry or similar.
Training or experience, or both, in one or more of the following areas are required: design, drafting, metals fabrication, inspection and testing, fit-up & repair, welding, iron working, hydraulics, drilling, or project management.
Have and maintain a valid U.S. passport.
Have and maintain a valid U.S. driver license with an acceptable MVR/criminal record (i.e. no alcohol related charges).
Pass all Drug and Alcohol related tests as required by the Company and customers.
Satisfactorily complete company indoctrination and training. Pass and maintain additional training as required by the company or customers.
Extensive travel required, onshore and offshore, often 150-200 days per year, in both U.S. and overseas.
American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred.
Computer literacy required: Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Access, etc.
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at the same time.
High School level reading, math and comprehension skills.
Ability to solve practical problems or resolve issues, and manage time effectively.
Interest or experience in other languages is a plus.

This is a safety sensitive position.
a) Working and traveling alone to worldwide locations via airline and vehicle. Various travel schedules and different time zones.
b) Individuals are regularly required to speak or hear; individuals may need to sit, stand, reach, or bend.
c) May require climbing, walking, and traversing irregular surfaces while under intense temperature (hot/cold) environments for extended periods throughout the day.
d) Manipulation of measuring tools and instruments such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, gauges, surveying instruments, etc.
e) Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist, or lifting as required. Proper lifting techniques required.
f) May include lifting up to 75 pounds or more of tools or material.
g) Will require working at great height (greater than 100 feet) and in harsh environmental conditions, including high wind conditions and temperature extremes (both high and low).
The performance of this position regularly requires exposure to hazardous areas (great heights, H2S exposure, flammable material exposure, and heavy equipment exposure) which requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as flame-resistant clothing, respirator, fall protection, hardhat, steel toed boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs. Wearing appropriate safety equipment for the applicable task is required while working on job sites.
In addition to compliance with LCM-WCI PPE requirements, shall also comply with HSE and PPE requirements of the customer when on their site.
Driving is an essential function of this position. Travel via airline is also required.
PRIMARY ENVIRONMENT: The primary environment is working in the field at great height (greater than 100 feet) and in harsh environmental conditions, including high wind conditions and temperature extremes (both high and low). Base location is Corporate office in Catoosa, Oklahoma.
