POSITION: Lineman Technology Instructor
CAMPUS: Drumright Campus
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for effective relevant instruction (theory and practical), curriculum development, job placement of students and documentation of students’ skills and competence for the Lineman Technology program.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Campus Director, Drumright Campus
SKILLS REQUIRED: Must have good interpersonal skills and utilize good verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of the current laws, state and federal regulations, as they pertain to Electrical Lineman operations. Must be able to develop curriculum to meet individual program requirements.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Must have at least five years experience as a Journeyman Lineman, including working with transformers.
EDUCATION: Completed Journeyman Level Power Lineman Technician certificate program, or on-the-job training program. Proof of training is required. High school diploma required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must have and maintain a valid Oklahoma Class A CDL.
STARTING DATE: January 3, 2022
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 month contract – Certified, Exempt
