The Central Tech Truck Driver Training Program lasts 23 training days and includes classroom instruction, range and highway driving.
Current charges for this training are as follows:
Two Class Options:
OPTION A (4-1/2 weeks) includes: Tuition, books, supplies, and drug test – Oklahoma Resident Tuition: $4,300. Housing for 23 days is available at the Drumright location only, (based on location availability) and is available at no additional charge. Central Tech will make housing reservations for students.
**The permit will cost $81.50 if you have no retake fees for test failures.You will also be responsible for the $25.00 processing fee on the day you receive your CDL license, plus any applicable retake fees.
OPTION B (5-1/2 weeks) includes: Everything in Option A PLUS one (1) additional week on site for instructor led and self study CDL permit prep, DOT physical, and cost of permit $81.50. You will be responsible for any retake fees for test failures, plus the $25.00 processing fee. Total cost of $4,800 for Oklahoma Residents.
NOTE: With either option, you must provide an original or certified copy of your state issued birth certificate or passport, and proof of Oklahoma domicile/residency each time you interact with the Department of Public Safety.

*Oklahoma residents must have a valid Oklahoma drivers license prior to first day of class to be eligible for in-state tuition rates.

General Housing Information:
Each student will have a private bedroom with a key locking door, but share access to living, kitchen, and bathroom facilities. Most housing is within a three-mile radius of Central Tech’s Drumright campus. Central Tech will pay a maximum of $450.00 to one of the following for student housing. NO pets or overnight guests allowed without proprietor’s prior approval. Housing is available after noon the day before class starts. Antiques-n-More Inn & Deli
Rooms have basic cable TV, are fully furnished including towels and linens, and common areas are cleaned daily. In addition, access to living rooms with TV’s, kitchens with hot plates, microwaves, refrigerators, and coffee makers. Some units have a private bath; generally, access to bathroom facilities is shared with other students. Bring your own toiletries along with dishes, eating utensils and cookware. Individuals who wish to upgrade to a private suite must pay the proprietor for the additional cost at the time of check-in.

Oak Creek Corner
This house sits on a corner lot and has three bedrooms (one with private bath), other two bedrooms share the bathroom in hallway. Living/dining room, kitchen with appliances (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave), laundry room with washer and dryer, small deck and covered parking. Fully furnished; towls and bedding furnished also. Internet provided; TV with local channels, no cable. Storm shelter in front yard. Cooking and eating utensils included in kitchen. Student will need to supply their own personal hygiene items and is responsible for their own personal clean up. Call before you check in; the landlord will instruct you on their check in procedures.
