Drawing 101
Ready to explore your creative side? Join our Drawing 101 class designed specifically for beginners! In this hands-on course, you’ll learn the essential building blocks of drawing, including:
- Sketching techniques
- Shading and blending
- Understanding proportion and scale
- Composition and layout fundamentals
By the third night, you’ll begin working on a still life setup that will carry through the remainder of the course, allowing you to apply your new skills in a guided, creative project.
Students must supply their own materials:
- Eraser
- Blending sticks
- Set of H and B pencils (up to ebony)
- 16×20 acid-free sketchbook (mixed media paper recommended)
