Central Tech has signed the Certification and Agreement acknowledging that Central Tech has used, or intends to use, at least the same amount of funding in financial aid grants to students as was required to be provided under sections 18004(a)(1) and (c) of division B of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) (Pub. L. 116–136).
Central Tech received $560,575 from the Department pursuant to the institution’s Certification and Agreement [for] Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students.
Currently, Central Tech has disbursed $134,497.84 of Emergency Financial Aid Grants distributed to students under Section 314(a)(1) of the CRRSAA as of the date of submission.
Central Tech estimates 508 students are eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and thus eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under Section 314(a)(1) of the CRRSAA.
31 Central Tech students have received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant under Section 314(a)(1) of CRRSAA.
Method for distributing funds: The institution disbursed funding based on exceptional need and program hours. A lump sum has been set aside for students to apply due to additional hardships.

Central Tech has received $71,269 from the Department pursuant to the institution’s Certification and Agreement [for] Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students.
Currently, Central Tech has disbursed $66,919 of Emergency Financial Aid Grants distributed to students under Section 314(a)(1) of the CRRSAA as of the date of submission.
Central Tech estimates 151 students are eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and thus eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under Section 314(a)(1) of the CRRSAA. 151 students have received the CARES Act Grant.

Currently, Central Tech has disbursed $71,269 of Emergency Financial Aid Grants distributed to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act as of the date of submission.
Central Tech estimates 115 students are eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and thus eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act, and 114 students received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act.

Central Tech provided a CARES Act Eligibility Application, CARES Act Grant for Post-Secondary Adult Students, and CARES Act Higher Ed Emergency Relief (HEERF) Grant form to the students concerning the Emergency Financial Aid Grants.
