Central Tech Students Win Awards at 2017 Oklahoma BPA Conference

Central Tech’s Business Information Technology student Ashley Thompson of Sapulpa placed first in Administrative Support Research Project at the Oklahoma Business Professionals of America’s state conference on March 8, 2017 in Tulsa.

 

Central Tech’s Business Information Technology students Jerika Brown of Cleveland and Makayla Clackler of Yale placed first in Financial Analyst Team at the Oklahoma Business Professionals of America’s state conference on March 8, 2017 in Tulsa. Jerika Brown was also presented the Statesman Torch Award (highest state individual student recognition award).

 

Central Tech’s Business Information Technology Parliamentary Procedures Team placed first at the Oklahoma Business Professionals of America’s state conference on March 8, 2017 in Tulsa. Team members (l-r): Jeri Dodson of Yale, Tiffany Windholz of Cleveland, Colin Randall of Cushing, Adam Chenoweth of Cleveland, Derek Franklin of Cushing, Miranda Dunn of Drumright, and Parker Griffith of Cushing. Jeri Dodson also won first place in Parliamentary Procedures Concepts and was given a Merit Scholar Award. Tiffany Windholz also won second place in Parliamentary Procedures Concepts, third in Business Meeting Management, was presented the Statesman Torch Award (highest state individual student recognition award), and was given a Merit Scholar Award. Adam Chenoweth also won third place in Parliamentary Procedures Concepts. Jeri Dodson was appointed as the 2016-2017 Oklahoma BPA State Parliamentarian and Colin Randall was given a Merit Scholar Award and was elected to serve as the Oklahoma BPA State Vice President for 2016-2017.

 

Central Tech’s Business Information Technology student Jerika Brown of Cleveland placed second in Accounting Mathematics Concepts at the Oklahoma Business Professionals of America’s state conference on March 8, 2017 in Tulsa.

 

Central Tech’s Business Information Technology postsecondary student Kalie Bazzle of Cleveland placed second in Administrative Support Concepts and third in Fundamental Spreadsheet Applications at the Oklahoma Business Professionals of America’s state conference on March 8, 2017 in Tulsa.

 

Central Tech’s Network Security & Administration postsecondary student Darrell Phillips of Cushing placed second in Computer Security at the Oklahoma Business Professionals of America’s state conference on March 8, 2017 in Tulsa.

 

Central Tech’s Interactive Multimedia student Jeanne Baynum of Mannford placed second in Computer Modeling at the Oklahoma Business Professionals of America’s state conference on March 8, 2017 in Tulsa.

Central Tech’s Network Security & Administration student Corbin Allen of Cleveland placed third in Computer Security at the Oklahoma Business Professionals of America’s state conference on March 8, 2017 in Tulsa.

 

 

Central Tech’s Interactive Multimedia postsecondary student Lindsey Losey of Sapulpa placed third in Digital Media Production at the Oklahoma Business Professionals of America’s state conference on March 8, 2017 in Tulsa.

 

 

Central Tech’s Business Information Technology student Bishop Long of Sapulpa placed third in Entrepreneurship at the Oklahoma Business Professionals of America’s state conference on March 8, 2017 in Tulsa.

 

Central Tech’s Business Information Technology students Kourtney Bear of Stroud and Faith Goodman of Cleveland placed third in Global Marketing Team at the Oklahoma Business Professionals of America’s state conference on March 8, 2017 in Tulsa. Kourtey Bear was also presented the Statesman Torch Award (highest state individual student recognition award).

 

Central Tech’s Business Information Technology student Anna Marie Davis of Sapulpa placed third in Human Resource Management at the Oklahoma Business Professionals of America’s state conference on March 8, 2017 in Tulsa.

 

Central Tech’s Network Security & Administration student Devin Carter of Mannford placed third in Network Administration Using Microsoft at the Oklahoma Business Professionals of America’s state conference on March 8, 2017 in Tulsa.
