POSITION: Campus Police Officer
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provide campus security for the protection of all students, staff and property.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Sapulpa Campus Director and Central Tech Chief of Police
SKILLS REQUIRED: Certified in first aid and CPR; must possess and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and be able to operate a security vehicle; must possess excellent communications and personal skills.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED required. CLEET certification as law enforcement officer must be valid and maintained.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Experience as a law enforcement officer preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Ability to read and comprehend a variety of written documents, regulations and reference materials. Regular attendance following a designated work schedule. Must be 21 years of age and have the ability to utilize a firearm in a safe and secure manner. Must have the ability to process paperwork effectively.
STARTING DATE: July 1, 2020
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12-month contract
