The Job Description:
POSITION: Campus Police Officer
CAMPUS: Sapulpa Campus
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provide campus security for the protection of all students, staff and property.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Sapulpa Campus Director/ Central Tech Chief of Police
SKILLS REQUIRED: Must have up-to-date firearms training certification; must be certified in first aid and CPR; must be able to operate a security vehicle; and must possess excellent communications and personal skills.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED required. CLEET certification as law enforcement officer must be valid and maintained.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Experience as a law enforcement officer preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Ability to read and comprehend a variety of written documents, regulations and reference materials. Regular attendance following a designated work schedule. Must be 21 years of age and possess and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license. Must have the ability to utilize a firearm in a safe and secure manner. Must have the ability to process paperwork efficiently and effectively.
STARTING DATE: September 6, 2021
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12-month contract/non-certified/non-exempt
