POSITION: Industrial Safety and Health Instructor
CAMPUS: Drumright Campus
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Develops and conducts programs to train employees or customers of industrial, commercial, or government organizations in local, state and or federal safety and health related issues and manufacturing principles.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Industrial Coordinator
SKILLS REQUIRED: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations, with particular emphasis in Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, procedures, interpretation and application. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A minimum of three years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial safety setting.
EDUCATION: Associate’s degree in manufacturing/maintenance or industrial safety area preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Presentation and public speaking, personal computer skills. Must possess and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
STARTING DATE: September 10, 2025
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12-month contract – Certified/Exempt
