POSITION: Part-Time Class A Truck Driving Instructor
CAMPUS: Drumright Campus
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Assist with the daily operations of Transportation & Safety Education by being responsible for instruction, safety and other duties as required.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of Transportation & Safety Education
SKILLS REQUIRED: Ability to counsel and instruct students in a professional manner and appearance. Proficient in skills as they relate to operation of over-the-road, diesel-powered Class A commercial vehicles. Ability to prioritize workload and maintain organized records. Mature, discreet, and responsible. Work well under pressure and take initiative. Ability to utilize computers in daily operations. Ability to meet and confer with individuals and groups concerning a variety of subjects including confidential matters.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Five years’ trailer over-the-road experience. Knowledge of current state and federal regulations relating to the trucking industry. Positive instructional experience preferred.
EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) effective teaching concepts. Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) current laws and state and federal regulations related to students.
STARTING DATE: January 14, 2026
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Part-time
