Learn to speak conversational Spanish in this class that focuses on elementary speaking ability, vocabulary-building, and basic grammar. You will learn basic Spanish phrases, letters, vowels, pronunciation, numbers, fruits, and months. Class communication activities will help you practice using all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Would you like to communicate with the deaf and hard of hearing community? Part one is an introduction to American Sign Language (ASL). You will be introduced to the manual sign alphabet, basic signs, phrases, and word combinations.

With the knowledge of more complex signs, including those most prevalent in basic conversation, students will be able to enjoy informal discussions with the deaf and hard of hearing community.
